I'm going to catch hell for this but why waste money on crap batteries like these? 5 out of 6 packs puffed on me. Ironically the very first pack I got is still doing OK. The others puffed at less than 25 amps draw and 9.5 volt LVC setting in the ESC's. 3 3S 2200mah and 2 3S 1000mah packs look like silver beach balls. I didn't even bother trying to get them warrantied. I gave them away. I don't want junk like this in my house.

Some may be having better luck with these batteries but I've learned my lesson. I can spend just a few bucks more and get reliable performance. (X-Caliber Batteries  Wink)

A year ago I bought my first 3 cell 1300mah  LIPO, an APEX rated at 15C.  I use it several times each week, its still working fine, accepting a reasonable charge.

In the mean time, using them on the same planes,  I have bought and thrown away 5 Hextronic 20-30C 1300mah LIPOS.  The Hextronic batteries died after 40 to 100 charge cycles.  They were never run at 20C or over and were always charged on a cell balancing charging system.  They all puffed to varying degrees for no apparent reason and died with a dramatic loss of capacity.  The labeling/advertising on these batteries is 20-30C and expected lifetime of 250-300 charging cycles.  Simply not true.

I can imagine a United Hobbies business plan something like:
If we take these 10C LIPOS and simply change the label to read 20-30C and state they will probably survive 250-300 charge cycles but leave the pricing the same, then customers all over the world will line up to buy what appears to be a bargain.  Incredibly unethical,  but they sure have sold a lot of batteries.

I agree with Joe, Hextronic batteries are crap.

I know some people have had great luck with the HXT's. Personally, I have not owned any myself. But I have heard the Loong Max are better.

Me, I will stick with X-Caliber for now.

Yep, X-Caliber for me too. I can't wait for AEF. I need some of the new 25C 1300's so I can fly my Strange Bird 28.

Seems to be a recurring theme in your post, I just can't put a finger on it yet though.

Hextronic SUCK!!!!  The  Looong Max are much better but for as long as it take to get from China I will stick with the X-Caliber.  The price is just slightly more but well worth it since they are sold through BMKDesign.net and I can get in a day.

Oh I also forgot to say TP SUCKS also!!!!
